One submission. One price. Three permit-ready reports. Save time and get the full ACCA design package in a single order.
What is Manual J, D & S?
Think of the Manual J S & D as the architectural plans for your HVAC system(s). Designed properly and installed as designed, will result in years of greater comfort, greater energy efficiency, fewer mechanical breakdowns, and lower utility bills. You will be spoilt!
Manual J S & D incorporates a load calculation, correct equipment selection and finally, lays out the ductwork, sizes the ductwork correctly along with registers. This ensures that the right amount of heating and cooling gets to the right room.
Small room, fewer ducts and smaller ducts. Large room with lots of windows? No problem, all have been accounted for.
The complete HVAC design package combining Manual J (load calculation), Manual S (equipment selection), and Manual D (duct design) is code nationwide. This is the most common requirement for new construction permits and ENERGY STAR / HERS certification. Ordering together saves time and ensures all three reports are internally consistent.
